 Travel as a passion
To say that travel is my passion is somewhat of an understatement. I have sojourned throughout most of the world, having visited most of Europe, China, Brazil, Thailand, Eygpt, Bali, Peru, Turkey, New Zealand, Africa, and ..well...anyhow... you get the idea. And I keep wanting to go back. And to see more. I truly believe that traveling is the best way to understand life and how the world is. So....join me.....as we travel and meet people and expand our minds and horizons.
The Greece 2008 trip is filled to overflowing but the itinerary is posted below for those who are interested in reading about it.
I have JUST signed a contract to bring a group to Egypt in November, 2009. While this is a long way off, the trip will fill quickly. More information will be posted soon, but for now, hold November 2 -11, 2009 on your calendars and start saving your pennies. (It will cost about $3,700 per person)
Also, I have posted below information on travel offerings from two companies I have worked with in the past and can recommend. While I cannot (unfortunately) go along on these journeys, I know you will have a magnificent time if you are called to join these trips.

In November of 2009 Kathryn will lead a group of mystical adventurers on a trip of a lifetime. treasures of King Tut beckon. Join us as we cruise down the Nile from
Aswan to Luxor, the heart of Egypt and discover the archeological
wonders of this ancient civilization.
Cairo - The Glorious Capital City
Journey with us back in time to the dawn of civilization. Your adventure
starts in Cairo as you tour the only remaining "Seven Wonders of the
Ancient World," the Pyramids of Giza. Visit the Royal Burial Chambers in
the Pyramid of Cheops, rising nearly 450 feet. Stand in awe of the Great
Sphinx, carved out of massive limestone, showing Pharaoh Chefren's head
on the body of a lion. Join us for an optional tour to the Egyptian
Museum of Antiquities where the treasures of King Tut are displayed,
among them his famous golden burial mask and glittering jewels.
You'll want to join us for an optional tour of Cairo that takes you to
the legendary Citadel, the Alabaster Mosque of Mohammed Ali, whose five
domes can be seen throughout the city. Continue on to the Sultan Hassan
Mosque and the City of the Dead. Love to shop for treasures in the
market? Come along on an optional excursion to the Khan el Khalili
bazaar and discover exquisite silver, brass and jewelry. At night, an
optional excursion to the Sphinx Sound and Light Show features an
exciting performance as powerful as this ancient legend itself!
Welcome Aboard the Majestic MS Ti-Yi
Fly to Aswan and board the MS Ti-Yi, your luxurious home for the next
three nights. Named after an Egyptian Queen, the MS Ti-Yi deluxe river
boat features comfortable cabins with private bath, pool, gym and
several dining as well as lounge options. From belly dancing shows to
international cuisine, you'll find the MS Ti-Yi the perfect vessel for
watching the wonders of the Nile float by.
While in Aswan, board a felucca, a traditional Nile sailboat and visit
Kitchner's and Elephantine Islands, with lovely gardens, fascinating
artifacts and ancient ruins. Fly with us on an optional tour across the
Nubian Desert to the magnificent Temple of Ramses II, Egypt's longest
ruling pharaoh, at Abu-Simbel. Built almost 3.000 years ago in honor of
Ramses II and Queen Nefratari, the Temple and four massive statues are
among the world's most treasured sites.
You'll find Aswan has a distinctively African atmosphere with lush palm
groves and tropical plants. Here you'll visit famous Aswan High Dam and
see quarries from where the famous pink granite was mined. See the
unfinished obelisk and the Temple of Isis at Philae, considered the
"pleasure of existence" by the ancient Egyptians.
Nile Cruise Includes Five Fascinating Ports
At Kom Ombo, you'll visit the Temple at Kom Ombo with its exceptional
relief walls. Stop at Edfu to see the Temple of Horus, one of the
largest and best preserved temples, displaying Egyptian myths, legends
and festivals. At Esna, you'll tour the Greco-Roman Temple of God Khnum
overlooking the Nile. Your final port is Luxor, where you'll walk in the
footsteps of royalty. Visit the Valley of the Kings and the Queens, King
Tutankhamun's Tomb and the Colossi of Memnon. Tour the Karnak Temple
with its 134 column hall of shrines added by pharaohs over the
centuries. Continue on to Luxor Temple with its two colossal statues and

The Intuitive Forum
Next meeting is August 8th
The intuitive forum is open to anyone searching for a safe and nurturing place to discuss and learn metaphysical, spiritual and personal growth topics. It is held at the United Church of Christ in Maple Grove, Minnesota and costs $20 per person at the door. It meets once a month on Friday nights from 7 to 9 pm.
Our speaker on August 8th is Jesse Eustis who is a Amanae and Frequencies of Brilliance Practioner. Amanae is a heart-centered bodywork designed to facilitate the release of deeply held emotions from the cells of the body and clear the way for profound healing. The work is done on a massage table and the technique is based on the activation of points or 'doorways' throughout the body.
Jesse will give a demonstration of the work focused on an opening of the heart. While a few willing participants will have a chance to experience the work directly, all who are present may experience a deep heart opening.
This demonstration is more than just a chance to witness the work; it is anopportunity to connect to our breath and our bodies, to explore our sound, and to open to a deep healing experience.
As always, the last hour of the forum will be Kathryn channeling the Light Collective and answering YOUR questions.

The Light Collective Speaks Special Event

This is the fourth in a series of special events where Kathryn channels the Light Collective about matter of concern to the world and all of us. This one promises to be perhaps the most important, as, rather than taking questions, they are going to discuss the 8 principles governing all life and how we can live it joyfully. There may be a time for questions at the end, but this time the Light Collective wishes to speak to us. It will be taped and distributed as a DVD and will, in all likelihood be the last event before their book is published. Come, bring your questions and enjoy. August 1st at Pilgrims United Church of Christ.
