How the Heck did this happen?
A funny thing happened to me on the way to enlightenment
Have you ever noticed that just when you think you know something you are usually wrong? I have studied intuitive work, psychology, and spiritual development for most of my life. The one subject that always bothered me was channeling. Up until about five years ago, I would have told you, if asked, (or perhaps even without being asked) that I did not believe channeling was a true phenomena.

I believed that the people who claimed to channel (ie allow entities other than themselves to speak through them) were well meaning but that they actually were using that as a way to describe their own inner knowing. In other words, I believed channeling to be simply another intuitive method, couched in different terms.

Then, one day about five years ago, I was in a deep meditative state with a friend of mine. I suddenly began to speak. My friend asked questions, got answers, and was fascinated. I did not remember a thing.

When my friend told me what had happened I was shocked and appalled. I did NOT want to channel. I didn´t believe in it.

The Universe does have a sense of humor. It happened again and again; each time the entities being a group of beings calling themselves the light collective. Eventually, I spent months channeling one morning a week with a group of friends, allowing the information that the light collective wished us to know to come through me. Much of this information was transcribed and I wish to share it with you.

For years, the only people who knew about my channeling were the members of this very small group of metaphysically oriented friends. I now believe though, that the information the light collective has given me is so valuable that it needs to be shared.

This site is dedicated to letting the light collective speak. Take it as you feel comfortable. Leave the rest. I will post their channelings as they come to me and also post their teachings from those previous sessions.

We Are All One
Principle One
Many years ago, when the Light Collective first made itself known to me, I began a new adventure. Since that time there have been times when I have seriously doubted and wondered about this course, but the wisdom they have taught me has been invaluable. I have now been asked to share some of what they have taught me to all of you who wish to hear.

Over a series of many months, the Light Collective taught me what they called the eight fold path. It is essentially eight principles which are universal in all dimensions. These principles will not be new to anyone who studies spiritual or metaphysical texts. All the wise ones throughout the ages have known these to be truths. Still, the Light Collective´s interpretation of them has aided my life in many ways. In the months to come, I will discuss them one by one.

The first principle was brought home to me recently when a friend and former co-worker of mine was gunned down in the Government Center. Miraculously, he survived a bullet in his neck, placed there by a tragically troubled person.

I was very disturbed by this event, first because he was a friend but also because it aroused in me a sense of vulnerability. In meditation, the Light Collective reminded me of the first principle "WE ARE ALL ONE." I am a part of my friend and feel his pain. I am a part of his assailant and feel her confusion and rage. I am a part of the gun lobby that campaigns for her right to purchase a firearm. I am part of the workers who now enter the building with less confidence and more fear.

What happens to me affects everything and everyone. What happens to others happens in a small part also to me. What I do, although miniscule is yet important. We are all a part of a universe and all the beings, both seen and unseen, which inhabit it. We are a part of dimensions containing spirits passed from this world and others. We are part of the animal kingdom, we are touched by fairy dust and guarded by angels. The Earth itself resonates as we walk upon her.

As a drop of water taken from the ocean remains part of the ocean, so we are separate and yet all ONE. When returned to the ocean, it mingles back in it´s home. One drop of polluted water returned to the ocean may have a small effect, yet it does have an effect. One drop purified and clean may encourage the beginning of a regeneration. So it is with us. We are each drops in the universe.

As I pondered this, my fear decreased and I realized I could not judge or blame anything or anyone. After all, I am part of all that happened that day. I am part of the forces in Iraq…on all sides. Part of me died on 9/11. Part of me was the cause of 9/11.

So, what does this all mean for our individual lives? The awareness of this truth makes the living of these lives more sacred. What we do is important. We may be the very drop that shifts the balance.
