a NEW palmistry experience, November 16th and 17th

November workshopPalm Visions
Your life is STILL in the Palm of Your Hand
It has been many years since Kathryn has taught a palmistry class. Her first book, Your Life In the Palm of Your Hand, was first published in 1995 and went through 4 printings. 13 years later, Kathryn is bringing out a completely new and revised version, "Palm Visions."

To celebrate this, Kathryn is also teaching a new and updated palmistry class. It will be held at Pilgrims United Church of Christ on November 16th from 7 pm to 9 pm and November 17th from 10 am to 4 pm. The cost to attend is $225 and includes lunch, all materials, and a scan and copy of your palms.

On Friday night all students will have their hands scanned and receive hard copies of them. These scans will also be projected and used during the workshop on Saturday, when Kathryn will be teaching everyone the basics of hand analysis and how you can determine your true personality, character traits, strengths and challenges by examining your hands.

You will learn what your head, heart and life line say about you and what your fate and fame lines tell of your life's direction. You will be given an easy and quick method to learn about other people's character....just by looking at their palms.

Your life truly is in the palm of your hand. This fun and exciting workshop will show you all you need to know to learn the fascinating and helpful technique of palmistry.

Everyone is welcome at this workshop and there is no limit on who can attend. Call Kathryn to reserve your spot. Payment can be made by check at the door or charged by clicking on the buy now button below.

What is hand analysis? What is Hand Analysis?
The use of palmistry to get to know yourself
(an excerpt from Kathryn's new book, "Palm Visions")

Knowing yourself is the key to life's ultimate success. It is impossible to get what you want out of life until you know enough about yourself to truly know what it is that you want---what it is that will actually bring you peace and joy. Our lives have become so busy, and we are so burdened with our roles and other's expectations of us, that few of us take the time to figure out who we are and what we truly desire.

Hand Analysis is the art of determining a person's character and personality by analyzing the color, shape, and lines of the hand. It is a valuable tool for learning about yourself. You can use it to introduce yourself to yourself, perhaps for the first time.

I believe that a person's life experiences, beliefs, and character traits are noted throughout the body. More and more, the mind-body connection is demonstrated to be a factor in our lives, health, and psychological welfare. It is no longer disputed that your emotions can make you sick or aid in your recovery. It is also well known that the external events of life affect every part of your physical body. It is not such a leap of faith to imagine that these events are recorded on your hands.

Despite popular opinion, the lines on the hand are not created by folding or usage. If they were, both hands should be virtually identical. One glance at your palms will show that your hands have two very different stories to tell. Learn to listen to them and you will be fascinated by what is revealed.

Few people realize that the lines of our hands change with our emotional state and as we age. If you examine the hand of a small child, you are unlikely to see many lines other than the three major ones. In old age, we often lose some of our lines. Particularly among elderly people who have memory problems, the lines of the hand begin to blur and fade away as their interests and memories do the same.

Hand analysis is not meant to dictate what will happen in your life. Rather, its purpose is to illuminate what could happen in your life. Learning to read your character and personality by examining the lines, shape and color of your hands is fascinating, fun and valuable.

One of the most interesting and useful things about reading your lines is that they are extremely changeable. Once you have learned a few crucial items, you can monitor your stress level and emotional well-being merely by glancing at the palm of your hand. During times of high anxiety or stress, you will notice many small lines appearing on your hands, often under the fingers or on the mount under the thumb. You may also notice additional lines or meshing appearing on your major lines (the heart, head and life lines). These are called stress lines because they are caused by excess emotional and nervous energy and come and go rapidly.

It should not be surprising that stress shows itself so quickly on your palm. You have probably noticed how quickly stress reveals itself on your face. Your palm is even more vulnerable to the rigors of life. There are innumerable nerve endings in your palm, each of which controls certain features. Once you become familiar with what to look for, you will be surprised that you have not before noticed the day-to-day variations that occur on your palm.

You have probably heard of the three major lines in the palm---the life, heart and head lines. An understanding of these lines is crucial to fully understanding yourself. In addition, there are a number of other small lines which contribute to the full story that your palm has to tell.

It is important to read the lines in both hands, if for no other reason than to become aware of the great differences in your hands. Your dominant hand will show the person that you have become because of all of life's various influences. It is also more likely to show major events that have happened in your life. Your non-dominant hand is the hand that will show your potential. It changes far less rapidly than your dominant hand and therefore can give you a clue as to the person you could have been. Look to your non-dominant hand to tell the story of your genetic influences, your inborn character traits, perhaps even your karmic history. A comparison of your two hands shows a clear snapshot of the person you have become--and the person you might have been. Read together, you are given the gift of determining who you wish to be in your future.

Palmistry is a wonderful tool, especially when combined with one´s intuition. Learn to use it and you will have a skill that will aid you in knowing yourself and others.
